Gerald Thomas "Jerry" Yirkovsky

Gerald T. Yirkovsky, 65, Rothschild, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Mount View Care Center, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He was born on February 13, 1957, son of the late Thomas and Beverly (Abel) Yirkovsky. Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers. He was an avid Nascar fan, and was always cheering on the Chevrolets. Jerry played hockey in school and was a longtime fan of the Boston Bruins, cheering them on to victory. He was proud to have served his country and always thanked members of the Military for their service.

Jerry is survived by his fiancé, Joan Flory; siblings, Pam (Dave) Reed, Mosinee, Mary (Donald) Thompson, Mosinee, James (Vicky) Yirkovsky, Mosinee, Jean (Ray) Kaluzny, Weyauega, Kay (Arne) Cegielski, Waukesha, and Mark (Tina) Yirkovsky, Mosinee; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jeffrey “Ollie”.
