Chrystabelle Mae "Chris" Williams (Raymond)

Chrystabelle “Chris” M. Williams, 81, Mosinee, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at Cedar Ridge Elder Services, Mosinee.
She was born March 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Clarence and Violet (Rempke) Raymond. She married James Williams on April 16, 1955. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1984.
By most she’s known as Chris, to family and friends she was known as the “Queen” and nicknamed “Queenie”. She was a leader and our family ambassador as her strength in mind as well as character held us all together. Chrystabelle a very determined and independent woman was as close to one could be to being a true angel. She loved and collected her angels. Throughout the years Chris faced and overcame many of life’s obstacles, regardless she never once complained and always was on to help others.
Because of the love she shared, she volunteered and was highly active as a member of the Mosinee Methodist Church. There she was also a member of the churches prayer group and prayer chain. Queenie with a very wise and straight forward demeanor loved to read books, and bake good just to satisfy her demanding sweet tooth, boy could she cook. Chris worked with the Mosinee Paper Mill for over 30 years retiring as the head secretary in the Mill’s chemical lab. Chrystabelle will forever be loved and remembered by those who were truly blessed to know she will never be replaced.
Survivors include, her daughter, Pamela (Stewart Riedl) Moeser, Wittenberg, grandson, Derek (Allea Diehl) Williams, Mosinee, brothers, Russell Raymond, Shawano, John “Bucky” (Pat) Raymond, Weston, and a sister, Carol Hallas, Mosinee. She was preceded in death by, her step father, Jack Antosch, two brothers, Wilbert Raymond and James Antosch and a sister Margaret Riley.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Gail Ray will officiate. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service all at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
