Sutton Adallen Samuels-Hartenstein

December 2, 2023 — March 13, 2024

Schofield

Sutton Adallen Samuels-Hartenstein, our precious daughter, unexpectedly gained her angel wings on March 13, 2024, at the tender age of 3 months. Born a month early on December 2, 2023, Sutton embodied the spirit of a fighter from the very beginning.

She inherited her fiery red hair from Dad and a feisty attitude that perfectly matched Mom. Snuggling with Mom while watching Grey's Anatomy, bumping heads with Dad during playtime, and making silly faces at her parents brought Sutton endless joy.  Her curious nature shone as she explored her surroundings, with her big, beautiful blue eyes taking in everything. She cherished puppy kisses from her fur sister, Quinnly, and virtual cuddles with Mema over FaceTime. Bath time was another source of delight for Sutton.  She'd kick her tiny legs with glee, a wide smile lighting up her face as the warm water splashed around her. After a busy day of exploring, bath time, and showering her loved ones with smiles, nap time brought Sutton peaceful moments of rest. Curled up in her soft blankets, she'd drift off to sleep, a testament to her curious and content spirit. On her last day filled with wonder, Sutton embarked on a delightful adventure, exploring the sights and sounds of the zoo. She cherished a beautiful day with her mom and Auntie Sam, reveling in the wonders of the animal kingdom at the Madison Zoo.

Though Sutton's time with us was brief, she filled the hearts of everyone who knew her with an immense, unforgettable love. This love extended beyond her immediate family, as Sutton was showered with affection by her many chosen aunts and uncles, who were effortlessly captured by her innocence and warmth. Her memory will be a cherished treasure for her family and friends forever.

Sutton is survived by her parents, Morgan Hartenstein and Kendrick Samuels, Fur sister Quinnly; grandparents, Sheila Colbert, Erin Haddaway, Eric Samuels; great-grandparents, Kerm and Sharon Schleicher, Richard and Linda Skabroud, Otto Samuels; uncles and aunts, Dakotah Hartenstein, Carson Hartenstein, Ellissa Hastreiter, Cameron Skabroud, Alexys Samuels and Andrew Samuels. She was preceded in death by, Cleve Hartenstein, Sidney McBride, Sidney Van de Kieft and many others.
