Steven Earl Holtz

Steven E. Holtz, 73, Mosinee, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 28, at his home.

Steven was born on July 1, 1952, son of the late, Floyd and Ruth (Steffen) Holtz. Steve’s passion in life was being in the outdoors spending time with his family and friends hunting and fishing. Steve especially enjoyed his retirement years with his brother Herb taking several trips to Canada each year hunting and fishing. Steve took great pride in getting his grandchildren involved in the outdoors, carrying on family traditions which were very important to him. Steve spent his career managing retail and was a district manager for Dollar Tree stores before he retired. Steve’s smile and wink always brightened the day of those around him and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Steven is survived by his children; Bryan (Missy) Holtz, Josh (Sara) Holtz, Kristi Holtz-Turner, and Robert Holtz; grandchildren Sam, Madison, Jarrett, Mayson, Jacob (Jaelyn), Sawyer, D’Andre, Zak, Breken, Kyden, and Dexter; siblings, Dave Holtz, Judy Holtz, and Dan Holtz; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his siblings Ron Holtz, Herb Holtz and Jerry Holtz.
