Thomas Edward Slivicke Jr.

January 13, 1936 — April 23, 2021

Thomas E Slivicke Jr, passed away peacefully April 23, at Benedictine Manor in Wausau. Born January 13, 1936 on the family farm in the Town of Reid, the son of the late Thomas Sr and Julia (Chmiel) Slivicke.

Tom lived his life to the fullest in many ways. Tom left the family farm after attending Mosinee High School and moved to Milwaukee. After retiring in 1995 from many years as a machinist at Briggs and Stratton, he returned to Marathon County. He loved the outdoors, Camping, Fishing, Hunting, Playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. For many years he went on hunting trips to Montana and Wyoming with his Brother, Gilbert. Tom was a self-taught concertina player and loved Polka Music, very proud of his Polish Heritage.

Survivors include, his children Kathleen Docter and Thomas (Gail) Slivicke III. Grandpa of David Wilson, Derek Slivicke, Ericka (Brandon) Everett, Brittney Dorshak (Jeff) and 5 great grandchildren. Dear Brother of Gilbert (Bonnie) Slivicke and Joyce Gantner. As well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in by son, Terry Slivicke.

Memorial service will be held at 11:am, Friday, April 30, 2021 at Beste Funeral Home Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will follow at Our Saviors Cemetery (Town of Reid). The family will receive friends from 10:00am Friday until time of services at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com
