It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Louise Mausolf, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Sharon entered peacefully into the presence of Jesus on her 82nd birthday, April 23, 2025.
Sharon Louise Conyers was born in Superior, WI, in 1943. The daughter of Dagney (Esselstrom) Conyers and Maurice Conyers, she lived a life guided by her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength.
Sharon received her training as a Registered Nurse from the Hennepin General Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis, MN, graduating in 1965. While there, she served as Vice President of the student council and was voted “Most Talented.” Sharon had a heart for helping others and she used her nursing skills for in-home health care before devoting 30 plus years to mentally challenged adults and residents with Alzheimer’s at North Central Health Care in Wausau. Sharon was truly a selfless, compassionate caregiver.
Sharon loved her Lord and remained an active member of Good News Baptist Church for the majority of the last 35 years. She loved singing in the choir, serving in women’s ministry, attending Bible studies, and helping on the kitchen crew whenever she could. If there was a need, she lovingly stepped up. In her free time, Sharon loved reading books, gardening, listening to music, feeding the birds, and going out to dinner with friends. Sharon passionately loved her family and friends, as well as a good piece of dark chocolate.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her husband Dale, son Steve (Judy) Mausolf, son Larry (Lindsay) Mausolf, daughter Linda (Eric) Pfrommer, and grandchildren Tyler (Jessica) Pfrommer, Paige Pfrommer, Brock Pfrommer, and Amelia Mausolf, as well as her brother Marvin (Shari) Conyers and numerous other family members and friends whose lives she touched over the years.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Good News Baptist Church, Mosinee. Pastor Ken Moberg will officiate. Burial will take place at the Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m., until the time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be directed to the family at ww.bestefh.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sharon’s memory to Good News Baptist Church.
