Rosemarie Rud (Hartmann)

Rosemarie Rud, 86, formerly of 1560 Roberts Road, Mosinee, passed into eternity, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Copperleaf Assisted Living in Marathon.
She was born June 19, 1929 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Theresa (Mack) Hartmann. She married LuVern Rud on July 6, 1952 in Menomonee, WI. He preceded her in death in May 2014.

Rosemarie taught home economics at Mosinee High School for several years. She loved helping her students learn how to sew and cook. She loved music and playing the piano. She set up a scholarship for students pursuing a degree in music. Rosemarie was a loving mother and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. She was active in the VFW Auxiliary and in the Circle of Joy. She also loved finance and taught herself about investing. Through this, she was able to help her children through college and to help others in need, which she loved to do.

Survivors include four children, Mike (Sandy) Rud, Largo, FL; Cindy (Bruce) Beaty, Marathon City; Dave (Mary) Rud, Eagan, MN and Barb (Dan) Suvaka, Caledonia; ten grandchildren, Luke Rud, Joshua (Gretchen) Rud, Danielle (Dave) Werner, Brittany Rud, Benjamin (Raquel) Beaty, Thea (Jonathan) Davis, Trevor Beaty, Michelle (Joel) Flage, Seth Beaty, Josiah (Abigail) Beaty; eleven great grandchildren, MacKenzie Rud, Rylie Jo Rud, Wyatt Rud, Natalie Werner, Robert Flage, Molly Flage, Brock Beaty, Lauren Beaty, Briana Beaty , Cassidy Beaty, and Raedyn Davis; a brother Gregg (Janet) Hartmann, Anchorage, AK; and a sister Karen (Michael) Echemendia, Atlanta, GA

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Good News Baptist Church, Mosinee, WI. The Rev. Jon Payne will officiate.
