Florence Ann Ropel, 92, Mosinee, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Cedar Ridge Elder Services, Mosinee.
She was born April 18, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Koczur) Ropel. Florence spent most of her life in Mosinee, first on the family farm and then at Cedar Ridge. She had a quick laugh and loved to watch TV, especially Horders and Cops, as well as play cards and bingo.
Survivors include her younger sister, Eleanor (the late Raymond) Jachec, and five nieces. She is preceded in death by a brother, Edward, and a sister, Josephine Symczyck.
A graveside service for Florence will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Peplin. The Rev. James Trempe will officiate. Beste Funeral Home assisted the family will arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com
