Ronald Chester Daniecki

Ron Daniecki passed away peacefully at home, on April 24th, 2024, at the age of 85. 

He was born July 30^th, 1938, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The son of the late Chester and Adeline (Harvonek) Daniecki. Ron grew up on a small farm in the Town of Dewey, where his interest in animals and gardening began.   Ron spent some time in the National Guard.

Ron married Barb in November 1966 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton, Wisconsin. After living in Dewey for a few years, they purchased their own small farm in the Town of Knowlton where they raised their children, many large vegetable gardens and a variety of animals.  Ron worked at the Mosinee Paper Mill, retiring in 2000.

Ron enjoyed spending his time outdoors.  This included hunting, trapping, fishing, and sometimes just sitting in the screenhouse.  He liked walking in the woods and collecting mushrooms.  In the fall, Ron would harvest the vegetables from his gardens to can and to make huge batches of chili.  Ron also enjoyed family gatherings and holidays with his family.   He was generally in charge of smoking/grilling/baking the meat.

Ron will be remembered and missed by his son, Brian (Nicole) Daniecki, son-in-law, Walter Kruczek, his grandchildren; Derek (Taylor) Kruczek, Kacee Kruczek, Paxton Obremski, Jayden Daniecki, Samantha Daniecki, his great-grand daughter Kylie Kruczek, and his dog Sadie.

Welcoming him at Heaven’s gates are; his wife, Barb Daniecki, daughter, Terri Lynn Kruczek, and parents Chester and Adeline Daniecki.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 1st, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Trempe will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
