Robin L. Pitt, 66, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 26, 1960, daughter of the late, Melvin and Jean (Gates) Strong. She married Guy Pitt on September 11, 1982, in Wittenberg, he survives.
To know her was to know love in action. She was a devoted wife for over 43 years, a constant and nurturing mother, and a proud and adoring grandmother. Her family was her world, and she showed it not just in words, but in her presence- At every practice, game, and school event. She was there cheering, encouraging, and supporting her children in every season of their lives. Her steady love and gentle guidance shaped her family in lasting ways.
She treasured simple visits- coffee shared with a friend, laughter around the dinner table, long conversations that stretched into the evening catching up on life. Being together was what mattered most to her.
Whether it was a classic love song, or a tune on the radio, she sang with her whole heart. Music brought her comfort, joy, and connection, and she shared that gift freely with everyone around her. She also had a beautiful tradition of sending cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and just because. Each one was thoughtfully chosen, filled with her warm handwriting and loving words.
For over 30 years, she served as a psychiatric and detoxification nurse, caring for individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Her work was more than a career- it was her calling. Many lives were changed because she chose to listen, to encourage, and to care.
She was a loving wife and a devoted mother whose greatest joy came from caring for her family. She gave selflessly, loved deeply, and created a home where everyone felt safe and cherished. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband and children, who were the pride and purpose of her life.
Robin is survived by her husband of 43 years, Guy Pitt; son, Jacob (Mallory) Pitt; daughter, Samantha (Gunner) Quast, step-daughter, Angela (Edgardo) Pitt-DeJesus; six grandchildren, Sadie, Miranda, Syler, Holden, Beau and Quinn; great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Ava; sister, Julie (Richard) Rzentkowski; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Strong and Nick Strong, and sister Billie Blum.
