Karen M. Olinski, 68, Rothschild, passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born Aug. 3, 1953, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Wolf) Olinski.
Karen was the most kind, compassionate, loving, and caring Person. She was a care giver her whole life. She loved her crafts, where her favorite hobby was plastic canvas needle work, where she would always make something beautiful for everyone. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and in 1988 she took a trip to Hawaii to visit and stay at the Coco Palms Resort where Elvis filmed his movie Blue Hawaii. She also had the opportunity to visit Elvis' birthplace and Graceland. She enjoyed occasional trips to the casino and playing BINGO.
Karen is survived by her siblings; Dennis (Sandra) Olinski, Germantown, WI, Allen (Darcy) Olinski, Fort Myers, FL, Gary Olinski, Rothschild, WI, and Maryann (Wally) Raczkowski, Kronenwetter, WI; she truly enjoyed her nieces and nephews, Matt (Kate) Olinski, Michael Olinski, Allison (Kevin) Wolfe, Erin (Dustin) Merriam, Laura Merriam, Emmitt Raczkowski, Alena Raczkowski and Malek Raczkowski; as well as many great nieces and nephews. Shortly following Karen’s passing, her brother Ron followed her into eternal life.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 25, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is proudly entrusted with service arrangements.
