Susan Mary Morris (Josiger)

Susan M. (Josiger) Morris 81, Mosinee, passed away on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at Mount View Care Center, surrounded by her family.

She was born March 28, 1940, in Wausau, the daughter of the late William and Irene Josiger, Sr. She married John Morris on October 22, 1960, at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2020.

Susan graduated from Wausau High School. They operated a family dairy farm in Knowlton WI. Susan was a dedicated housewife and mother. She was an active member of The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8280, Peplin, WI. She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Society, St. Jerome Circle.

Survivors include her four children, Robin (Kathy) Morris, Mosinee, Tammy (Seth) Fochs, Mosinee, Michelle (Kevin) Loken, Appleton, and Wanda (Kory) Pecha, Mosinee; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Amber (Michael), Austin, Anna, Jack, Sam, Adam, Julia and Allison; one great grandson, August; four sisters, Joan Krause, Wausau, Sally Ellenbecker, San Diego, California, Judy (Ray) Dehnel, Wausau, and Carroll (Dan) Sekerka, Rosholt; three brothers, Roger Josiger, Wausau, and Gerald ‘Butch’ (Marge) Josiger, Brokaw. Besides her parents, Susan is preceded in death by three brothers, William ‘Billy’ Josiger Jr., Ken Josiger and Mike Josiger.

A mass of christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Trempe will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. And again Tuesday, March 22nd, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at the church. Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
