Mary Rose Moeschler, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Mosinee.
Mary was born on August 6, 1951, in Tomahawk, WI, daughter of the late Max and Emily (Pertmer) Paukner. She graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1969 and the Wisconsin College of Cosmetology in Green Bay, WI in 1970. She married Henry Moeschler on January 16, 1971. Henry and Mary owned and operated several successful businesses over the years, including Heavy Machinery Sales in Mosinee.
Mary was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew her. Whether she was sitting in her sunroom admiring the flowers and watching the wildlife, enjoying the warmth of an Arizona winter, cheering on game show contestants and the Milwaukee Brewers, or heading out on adventures with family and friends, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her bright, sunny personality will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her husband, Henry; her children Samantha (James) Fox of Rapid River, MI and William Moeschler of Greenfield, WI; and sister Patricia (William) Walker of Iola, WI.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the Funeral Home. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.bestefh.com.
A special thank you to the nurses and aides of St. Croix Hospice for the excellent care they provided Mary in her time of need.
