Marian Martino

Marian E. Martino, 95, Mosinee, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Cedar Creek Manor, Kronenwetter.

She was on born May 13, 1921, in Mosinee, the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Lewandowski) Chilla. She married Michael Martino on October 4, 1955 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. He preceded her in death on May 19, 1963.

Marian began her working career at Marathon Electric. After she married Michael, she did the bookkeeping for Mike Martino Trucking. She also worked at Hillside Super Market in Mosinee for many years. Marian enjoyed attending church picnics, and listening and dancing along to polka music.

Survivors, include her two sons, Mark (Betty) Martino, and Joe (Eileen Hager) Martino, both of Mosinee. Marian was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Chilla; and two sisters, Helen Wnuk and Christine Cater.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
