LeRoy Ronald Pelot

LeRoy Pelot, 89, died peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

He was born Feb. 17, 1934, son of the late Felix and Angeline Pelot.  On October 16, 1993, he was married to the late Leona Okrzesik.

LeRoy was a logger and a beekeeper and worked in the potato fields.  He enjoyed going to the local bars and talking to everyone while having a Mountain Dew.

He leaves behind two sisters, nine step-children, and many step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren, and step- great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee.  The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate.  Entombment will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m., until the time of service, all at the church.  Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
