Lawrence “Larry” Yetka, 63, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024, at home. He was born on March 9, 1960, to his parents Frank and Helen Yetka in Chicago, IL. He has one sibling Deb Peterson “Sis” as he would always call her.
Larry loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on old classic cars and being on Lake Dubay sharing these memories with his sis. He loved a good home cooked meal “especially pierogi and anything venison”.
Larry worked for L&S Electric and was off to many venture jobs along his way in life; until he landed his “Golden Ticket” his little haven comfort home in Mosinee; which he loved with all his heart… a place called home. He had a great Catholic faith that he hung onto his whole life. There is always hope at the end of the tunnel for the Lord will bring us to Himself with the help of many Christian friends. Those who helped him most on his journey a “special thanks” to Officer Eric Lemirand and Tracey Rieger from Catholic Charities who gave the most time, effort, love and respect to him, he was very humbled and grateful to them.
Survivors include, his sister, Debra (Philip) Peterson, niece, Dawn (Doug) Brod, nephew, Derek (Mellisa) Brod and great-nephew and niece, Austin Brod and Keyara Fellenz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Yetka Jr, and Grandparents, Frank and Josephine Yetka Sr, and Alexander and Julia Martys.
