Mary Kitzhaber

Mary Ellen Kitzhaber, 95, of Mosinee, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehab Center, Wausau.

She was born May 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Estella (Bradley) Condon. She married Raymond (Bud) Kitzhaber on October 29, 1947 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Halder, WI. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2012.

Mary Ellen loved her time as a teacher. She was a wonderful mom who will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Dennis Kitzhaber, Mosinee, and Mary Jo (Joe) Larson, McFarland; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, and husband Bud, she was preceded in death by brothers Bernard, Jerry, Joe, James, and Terry; sisters Gladys, Kathleen, Ruth, Nora, Jean, and Pat.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. A private family burial will be in Saint Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services all at the church. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com
