Kenneth "Bucko" Wayne Rempke

Kenneth “Bucko” Wayne Rempke, 41, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center, Weston. He was born July 14, 1982, the son of the late John “Jack” Sr and Sally (Gruman) Rempke.

Bucko’s nickname comes from his father Jack who would always say, “You're not just a buck you’re a Bucko,” as Bucko would always love the sound of five quarters clanging together in a sock that Jack would shake for him. Bucko brought joy to everyone who met him and he loved conversations about the Packers, motorcycles, and fast cars. Upon his graduation from Antigo High School, Bucko smiled from ear to ear from his first ride in a bright red convertible.

He is survived by his guardian/cousin Catherine Schroder and co-guardian Sarah Hearn, extended family and friends and has joined his mother, father, and his sisters, Angel and Jennifer in heaven.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday December 1, 2023, at Highland Community Church, Weston. The Pastor Dan MacDonald will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m., Friday, until the time of services all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee is assisting the family with arrangements.
