Judith Margaret Agema

Judith “Jude” Agema, 79, Eau Claire, died peacefully Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Pride TLC, Kronenwetter.

She was born on March 2, 1944, in Saint Cloud, MN, daughter to the late Paul and Madeline (Sieverding) Doetkott.  On May 15, 1965, she married Larry Agema, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in River Falls, he preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 2020.

Jude was active with St Patrick’s church, a member of the handbell choir, participated in decorating the church for the change of seasons. She loved to sew, traveling via train, taking lots of pictures, shopping with QVC and Home Shopping Network. Raised several West Highland terriers and a Scottish Terrier. She loved her car and the independence it offered.

Survivors include her children; 2 sons, Brad Agema of Altoona, Jeremy (Laurie) Agema of Kronenwetter; 6 grandchildren, Alex and Ian Agema, Deanna, Jacob and Camille Agema and Amy Boyea; great granddaughter Evalin; 2 brothers, Rob (Laura) Doetkott, and Jerry Doetkott, both of River Falls, WI.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry, and brother, Dick Doetkott.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Eau Claire.  The Rev. Antony Joseph will officiate.  Burial will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service, all at the church.  Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
