JoAnn Scott of Mosinee, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Dimensions Living in Rib Mountain, WI under the care of Interim Hospice Care.
JoAnn was born on March 18, 1939 to Arling “Mike” Hull and Elva “Snooky” Hull (Matz) of Lake Tomahawk, WI. She graduated from Woodruff High School in 1957 and soon after married John H. Scott, Sr., on June 29, 1957, at the Church of the Pines in Minocqua, WI. They were together for 48 years until John’s passing in 2005. They are now together in heaven.
JoAnn was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many and she always gave more than she expected in return. JoAnn and John enjoyed traveling, especially road trips. She enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family, and friends. She especially enjoyed having ice cream any chance she could; Culvers was her favorite.
She is survived by her sons, John (Denise) Scott, Tim (JoAnn) Scott, Gary (Kay) Scott, and Gregg Scott; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Karen) Scott, Joshua (Hannah) Scott, Megan Scott, Molly Scott, and Madeline Scott; two great-grandchildren, Charlotte Scott and Eli Scott; step-grandchild Carey Hargot; brother, Michael (Dawn) Hull; sister, Mary (Mike) Wright, sister-in-law, Marlene Hull; brother in law, Donald Wendt; and many nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, and siblings, Gilbert Hull, Arlene Wendt, and Tom Hull, and sister-in-law, Diane “Boots” Hull.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mosinee. Pastor Jon Hadler will officiate. Burial will take place at Wilderness Rest Cemetery in Lake Tomahawk. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service all at the church.
