Jeffrey “Smurf” M. Kramer, 70, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 29, 2025, at House Of The Dove, in Marshfield. Jeff was born on March 12, 1955, son of the late Dan and Millie Kramer.
Jeff grew up in Wausau and attended Newman Catholic High School. He served 4 years in the Army Reserve. He worked for Federal Mogul as a Machinist for over 35 years. Jeff enjoyed fishing and hunting and being outside any chance he could get. He also enjoyed taking care of a garden in summer and mowing his lawn, which was always pristine.
Jeff always enjoyed having a cold beer and catching up with friends and family. He really enjoyed anytime he got to see his grandson, Emmett. That little boy always put the biggest smile on Jeff's face.
He is survived by; his daughter, Jenna (Brody) Zebro; grandson, Emmett Zebro, all of Mosinee; siblings, Jack (Sherry) Kramer, Shiocton, WI, Susan (David) Harris, Nixa, MO, Sharon (Rich) Powers, Weston, WI, and Julie Wolf, Marshfield, WI; former wife, Julie Baxter; as well as aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Chuck Wolf and maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Deacon Kevin Breit will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the Funeral Home. Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
