Edward R. Hahn Jr., 79, Kronenwetter, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center-Weston.
He was born Jan. 4, 1942, in Chicago, the son of the late Edward Sr. and Angeline (Bielen) Hahn.
Ed was raised in Mosinee and was proud to grow up on the family farm and enjoyed the work that came with it. He was a talented electrician and took every opportunity he could to share his experience and tricks of the trade with his sons and grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman with deer hunting being most certainly on the top of his list. He enjoyed sharing hunting stories with family and anyone else who would listen. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for his family.
He is survived by his three sons, Allan (Carol) Hahn, Brian Hahn and Ron (Eydie) Hahn, all of Mosinee; six grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Alexis (Nico), Chelsea (Bryan), Aaron (Carly) and Kevin (Brooke); seven great-grandchildren, Case, Lorien, Llydia, Lillian, Ella, Aria and Braxton; a sister, Genevieve; and the mother of his children, Grace Hahn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon, and a sister, Julia.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
