Gregory John Marshall

Gregory “Greg” J. Marshall, 67, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, after a courageous battle with multiple severe health issues.

Greg was born on June 17, 1958, to the late John and Marilyn (Welshon) Marshall.

Greg had a lifelong love of aviation and enjoyed attending air shows and visiting aviation museums. Fascinated by fighter jets, he once dreamed of becoming a pilot, though an eye injury sadly prevented him from pursuing that path. He was also deeply interested in history, a passion he proudly shared with his granddaughter. Greg was an avid coin collector, survivalist, and outdoorsman who appreciated nature and adventure. Above all else, Greg treasured being a father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Kristin Marshall of Wisconsin and Kassie Marchetti of Iowa; his grandchildren, Braedon Marshall and Layla Habhab of Wisconsin; his siblings, Kevin (Barb) Marshall of Minnesota, Toma Marshall of Indiana, and Barb Marshall of Wisconsin; and his ex-wife and long-time best friend, Roxanne Marchetti of Wisconsin. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Besides his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his sister Lisa Marshall, WI; David Marshall, WI; best friend Grizzly, and special friend “Lady Hawk”

Greg will be remembered for his strength, resilience, adventurous spirit, and the love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
