Gerald Lee Pecha

Gerald “Jerry” or “Bear” Lee Pecha, 70, Mosinee, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023, with his family by his side.

Jerry was born on October 2, 1953, in Chicago, IL, son of the late LeRoy and Pearl (Kuklinski) Pecha.  He graduated from Mosinee High School in 1973 and started working at Northern Valley Workshop.

Despite his vision handicap, Jerry didn’t let that stop him from having fun and enjoying life and activities.  Jerry was in a bowling league with his friends for many years.  He was an avid card player.  Jerry loved to be social, just sitting down and having a soda and socializing with friends and family.  He was a Wisconsin sports fan, watching the Packers and Brewers whenever he could.

Jerry is survived by his siblings; Jackie (Jim) Sypnieski, Ronnie Pecha, and Chrissy (Pat) Weinbauer; nephews and a niece, Jimmy, Eric, Brad, Kaylee and LeeRoy; and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mosinee.  The Rev. Andrew Ewald will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church.  Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements, online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
