Elsie Feit

Elsie H. Feit, 93, Wausau, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Aspirus, Wausau Hospital.

She was born November 11, 1922, at home in the Town of Bergen, the daughter of the late Stanley and Louise (Rashke) Valosek.

Elsie married Walter Strozinski, August 31, 1948 in Mosinee. He preceded her in death April 6, 1990. She then met Irvin Feit, and in 1991 the two were married in Manitowish Waters, he survives.

Elsie worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Wausau for a number of years as a tax return agent. She had a passion for traveling and enjoying life. Elsie was a very friendly woman, with a contagious smile, a kind heart who loved her family above everything else.

Survivors, besides her husband, Irvin Feit, Wausau; include a stepson, Dennis Feit, Menomonie; a stepdaughter, Lois (Henry) Bauers, Manitowish Waters; step grandchildren, Heidi, Will, and Andrew; step greatgrandchildren, Weston, Mason, Myles, and Wilson; a sister, Alberta Solinsky, Rhinelander; and a nephew, Jim (Janell) Solinsky, Rhinelander. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Valosek.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April. 8, 2016, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Jim Gates will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the Funeral Home.
