Donna C. Drake

Donna C. Drake, 73, Mosinee, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at Pine Meadows, Mosinee.

Donna was born in Wausau and grew up in Mosinee. Donna was the 14th of 15 children, of the late Claude and Elizabeth (Bressete) Drake. 10 of her siblings preceded her in death, Mary Jane, Sheldon, Richard, Dawn, Marvin, Chester, Joseph, John, Marcella and “Baby Drake”. Donna is survived by her two daughters, Linda Drake, Sue Drake, and grandson Mike Drake. Donna’s surviving siblings include; Carolyn (Lloyd) Roberts, Denver, IN, Clinton (Barbara) Drake, Schofield, David (the late Betty Drake), Wausau, and Roseann (Andy) Boron, Mosinee.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Linda and all the caring and compassionate caregivers at Pine Meadows Assisted Living. Each one of Donna’s caregivers played a significant role in making her final days so comfortable and content.

We are especially grateful to Cheyenne, Donna’s hospice caregiver, whose patience, flexibility, and willingness to adjust schedules whenever Donna wasn’t feeling up to care never went unnoticed. We also sincerely thank Malayna, the social worker, for her guidance, encouragement, and support during this difficult time. A special thank you to Amanda, RN, and Wendy, RN, and the entire Interim Hospice Team, your dedication, kindness, exceptional compassion, and unwavering care meant more to our family than words can adequately express, and we will always be grateful for the dignity and comfort you provided Donna.
