Donna Lee Davis (Drangmeister)

Donna Lee (Drangmeister) Davis, 78, of Mosinee, formerly of Hammond, Indiana, died Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Colonial Manor, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Services.
She was born August 21, 1939, in Hammond, Indiana. The daughter of the late Bruno and Lydia (Reckow) Drangmeister. She married Douglas Davis on June 17, 1961 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Hammond, Indiana. After 54 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on March 19, 2016.
Donna graduated from Morton High School in Hammond, Indiana in 1957. She worked as a cashier and service desk manager at grocery stores in Indiana and Wisconsin for over 20 years. She was the co-owner/operator of Davis Liquors in Schererville, Indiana and Davis Meat Market in Mosinee, Wisconsin.
A few of Donna’s hobbies include: being outdoors, flowers and gardening, photography, especially taking pictures of her loved ones. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Indiana and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dancy, WI.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas “Butch” (Terri) Davis, Mosinee, WI, and Dale Davis, Three Lakes, WI; one daughter, Deborah (James) Soltesz, Dyer, IN; six Grandchildren, Donna (Michael) Hutquist, Chesterton, IN, Daniel (Kristin) Davis, Mosinee, WI, Michael (Kate) Davis, Kronenwetter, WI, Julie (Michael) Raduenz, Fishers, IN, Jennifer (Michal) Broniek, Noblesville, IN, and Dale “DJ” Davis, Mosinee, WI; five Great-grandchildren, Austin, Braylon, Magnolia, Zoey and Landen; four brothers, Albert (Patsy) Drangmeister, Kentland, IN, Eugene (Randi) Drangmeister, Whiting, IN, Kenneth (Pamela) Drangmeister, Crown Point, IN, and Robert (Charlene) Drangmeister, Demotte, IN; three sisters, Carol McIntosh, Princeton, KY, Dolores (Charles) Hess, Florence, AZ, and Susan (Rex) Gluth, Rensselaer, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and Brother, James Drangmeister.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, Dancy. The Rev. Timothy Roser will officiate. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Dancy.
