Irene M. Danczyk, 98, formerly of Mosinee, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020, at Wausau Manor, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born Feb. 23, 1922, in Plainfield, the daughter of the late Andrew and Stella (Mieska) Petrusky. She married Theodore Danczyk on Oct. 17, 1942, in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death.
Irene was a stay at home mom who enjoyed taking care of her family and home.
Survivors include her children, Ted Danczyk, Shirley (Leonard) Brokish, Eugene (Margie) Danczyk and Andy (Karen) Danczyk, all of Mosinee; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Kathy) Petrusky, Milwaukee, and Ray (Neta) Petrusky, Plainfield; and two sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
