Clara M. Gorski, 86, Mosinee, died on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Acorn Hill, Mosinee, under the care of Interim Hospice.
She was born on May 9, 1938, in Marathon, the daughter of the late Alfred and Theresa (Mueller) Huebsch. She married Arnold J. Gorski on May 10, 1958, in Marathon City, he preceded her in death on March 28, 2023.
Clara Gorski was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was always in her kitchen cooking something delicious up, she was known for her delicious chili and soups. Her and Arnold enjoyed a hobby of sausage making together that has carried on in the family and their recipes are now served on the menu at Gorski’s for many to enjoy in the community. She enjoyed going to Watersmeet MI, where they had a cabin for many years on Jenny Lake, it was the families own magical little getaway from day-to-day life. Clara was very involved in church, at St. Paul’s. She was a very spicy lady, and many loved her for the spice she brought! She was always supporting her grandchildren and running them to and from their events growing up, which later carried over into her great grandchildren, she was always sure to attend their school concerts, sport events and would call them up at 8pm to let them know their favorite soup was hot and ready for tasting. Later in life her and Arnold would spend much of their time at Gorski’s restaurant helping get the business on its feet and sharing sausage, soup and potato salad recipes for the menu, they were very proud to see THEIR last name hanging high on the sign. We are certain she entered her eternal life with a full heart and full of spice ready to watch over and guide her family on earth. She will be greatly missed and NEVER forgotten.
