Charles Arthur Vehlow

Charles A. Vehlow, 70, Wausau, passed away on September 24, 2026, at his home.

Charles was born on August 15, 1956, son of the late Charles F. and Beverly (Renauld) Vehlow.

Charles had a lifelong love for anything with an engine and was a true gearhead at heart. Harley-Davidson motorcycles held a special place in his life, and over the years he owned and restored many bikes, always happiest when he was turning wrenches and bringing something back to life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball and softball, as well as shooting pool. He also had a soft spot for cats, which were always his favorite animal.

Charles is survived by his children; Lindsey (Calvin) Richtig; and Eric (Laura) Vehlow; 5 grandchildren, 1 sibling, Jean (Craig) Schubring, nieces and a nephew.
