Roy E Carlson

Roy E. Carlson, 89, Mosinee, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born Nov. 26, 1930, in Ogema, the son of the late Andrew and Eva (Omen) Carlson. He married Marjorie Perner on Oct. 7, 1967, in Wausau. She survives.
Roy was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Roy enjoyed spending time outdoors, from hunting and fishing to working in the yard. He rarely stopped working unless it was to go to the restaurant to catch meal or a cup of coffee and talk with friends… he loved to talk!
Survivors, besides his wife, Marjorie, include a son, Dennis (Jill) Carlson, Mosinee; daughter-in-law, Diane Carlson, Wausau; his grandchildren, Megan, Callie, Sean, Brandon and Logan Carlson; and great grandson, D’Khari. He was preceded in death by a son, Dean Royce Carlson, two brothers, Arne and Donald, and four sisters, Arlene, Lillian, Mae and Elsie.
