Doris Evelyn Brown (Dean)

Doris E. Brown, 93, of Mosinee, died Monday, August 23, 2021, at Acorn Hill Assisted Living, Mosinee.

She was born February 11, 1928, to the late Everett and Elizabeth (Duranso) Dean. She married, and had a wonderful life with Wilbur A. Brown, he preceded her in death.

Doris worked at Kennedy Park for 40 years, serving as the Head Cook. She could always be counted on to cook and help out in the kitchen at church during funeral lunches. While Doris was always at home in a kitchen, it was spending time with her children and grandchildren, where Doris was most happy and proud.


Doris is survived by her children, Eugene (Lucina) Brown, Lodi, Randy (Susie) Brown, Mosinee, and Kim Mavis, Pulaski; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Wilbur, Doris was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Geri Brown; five brothers; and three sisters.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Gail Ray will officiate. Burial will take place at Mosinee Cemetery.
