Jocelyn Jane Beranek (Plautz)

Jocelyn J. Beranek, 68, Rothschild, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield.

She was born Jan. 11, 1954, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Garrett and Dorothy (Kottke) Plautz. She married William Beranek on July 14, 1978. He survives.

Along with being a homemaker, Jocelyn, enjoyed caring for people- babysitting and caring for elderly. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, reading, needle point and being outside enjoying nature. ߦ‹

Survivors include her three children, Tonya (Bill) Miller, Schofield, Jason (Tina) Beranek, Merrill, and Michael (Meegan) Beranek, Schofield; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jeffrey Plautz, Edgar.
