Benjamin Jay Larsen

Benjamin Jay Larsen, 47, of Mosinee, died on September 20, 2026.

He was born on September 30, 1978, to Jay and Nancy (Leiby) Larsen.

A lifelong resident of Mosinee, he was a graduate of Mosinee High School. He was a dedicated and versatile employee who held a variety of welding, fabrication and safety roles throughout his career, most recently serving as a Maintenance Coordinator after previously serving as a Safety Director. He took pride in solving problems efficiently, while always striving for excellence.

He was a generous person and a loyal friend. He was kind, sensitive, creative and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending his free time cooking, often sharing his specialties — which ranged from muffaletta sandwiches to beef jerky — with others. He also loved fishing and spending time with his close friends, Jered and Joe.

Ben is survived by his parents, Jay and Nancy Larsen of Menominee, MI; his sister, Emily Larsen, and her partner, Dan Sweeney, of Glendale, WI; and one aunt and two uncles.

A Memorial Service for Ben will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Beste Funeral Home.
