Barbara Joan Daniecki

Barb Daniecki entered eternal life on September 20th, 2023, at the age of 77.

She was born August 10th, 1946, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The daughter of the late Leo and Minnie (Bennett) Lutzewitz. She married Ronald Daniecki in November 1966 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton, Wisconsin.

While Barb had other jobs during her life, none of them were as important to her as taking care of her Homestead.  This is where she and her loving husband, Ron, raised their children, various animals, and several large gardens. 

One of Barb’s hobbies was later canning the vegetables they grew. Barb loved organizing family get togethers, where everyone was served a homecooked meal that included fresh baked pie, her amazing potato salad, and plenty of leftovers.   Barb took pride in making sure everyone was well taken care of during deer camp.  This started with breakfast and bag of snacks when heading out to the woods, followed by a delicious lunch of homemade chicken noodle soup or her “famous” bucktail stew.  Barb enjoyed spending time with her family and friends camping on the Back 40 and in Hodag Country.  Barb also enjoyed meeting her friends for happy hour or to watch the Packers.  She was an active member of the church and had been a member of St. Mary Anne’s Circle.

She will be forever remembered by her husband, Ron Daniecki, her sister Charlotte (Charles) Lovesee, her son, Brian (Nicole) Daniecki, son-in-law, Walter Kruczek, and her grandchildren; Derek (Taylor) Kruczek, Kacee Kruczek, Paxton Obremski, Jayden Daniecki, and Samantha Daniecki.

Welcoming her at heavens gates are her daughter, Terri Lynn Kruczek; her parents, Leo and Minnie (Bennett) Lutzewitz; her sister, Joyce Duberstein

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Trempe will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements.
