Karen A. (Friday) Augustine, 46, Wausau, formerly of Mosinee, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield.
She was born August 29, 1971, in Marshfield, the daughter of John and Beth (Harris) Friday, Mosinee. She married Neal Augustine on Sept. 9, 2016 in Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2017.
Karen was an animal lover and simply adored cats. She enjoyed long, scenic car rides, hunting, reading and puzzles, and was an avid Packers fan.
Survivors, besides her parents, John and Beth, include her maternal grandmother, Beverly Harris, Mosinee; a brother, Kevin Friday, Alaska; a niece and nephew, Taylor and Nicholas Wilke, Loyal; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Henry and Hope Friday and Frank Harris.
Services will be a 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, Dancy. The Rev. Timothy Roser will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Dancy. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
