Arnold Julius Gorski

Arnold J. Gorski, 90, Mosinee, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 (his 90^th birthday), at Mount View Care Center, Wausau, with his family by his side.

He was born on March 28, 1933, in Mosinee, WI, son of Julius and Bridget (Klemens) Gorski.  He married Clara Huebsch on May 10, 1958, she survives.

Arnold started as a Barber’s apprentice at the age of 16, eventually opening his own shop “Westside Barbershop”.  Closing the shop in the mid 70’s, transitioning to Schuld Manufacturing. He then started his own cleaning business with his wife Clara.  Arnold served four years in the United States Air Force,  during the Korean War.  Arnold was an avid hockey fan, never missing an opportunity to support and watch the Mosinee Teams.  Hunting and fishing were favorite pastimes as well.  But above all spending time with his family was the most important.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; children, Timothy (Sandy) Gorski, Madison, Kevin (Joy) Gorski, Mosinee, Scott (Tammy) Gorski, Mosinee, Melissa Bahlmann, Brodhead, WI, Michele (Jeff) Maxwell, Eugene, OR, Shawn Gorski, Mosinee, and Chad (Nicki) Gorski, Mosinee; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Jazdzewski, Mosinee, and Harry Gorski, Mosinee.  Arnold was preceded in death by four sisters, Delphine, Evelyn, Grace and Irene; and one brother, Albert.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee.  The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate.  Burial will take place at St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
