Annette Mae Brod

Annette M. Brod, 77, Mosinee, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Annette was born August 7, 1945, in Mosinee, the daughter of the late Felix and Mabel (Noel) Koss.  On February 20, 1965, she married her soulmate, Robert Brod, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2007.

She found happiness in shooting pool, playing cards, and hosting bonfires in the backyard.  Her pool nights brought much laughter with friends.  She created a friendly competitive atmosphere during card games, and her backyard bonfires fostered cherished moments of laughter and togetherness.

She also had a passion for flower gardening, cooking, word searches, and cross-stitching. Her culinary creations brought people together around the table for many years, and she found comfort in the quiet moments spent with word searches and cross-stitching.

Annette is survived by her children: Corrine (Paul Ruzga) Soppe, Todd (Tori) Brod, Carrie (Jeff) Schwantes and Nicole (Jim) Finley.   She is also survived by 6 grandchildren:  Ashley (Jake Dickman), Amber (Noah Lucero) Ruzga, Spencer Bolf, Jasmine Keller, Mikalya (Aaron Livingston) Hubatch and Annika Hubatch.  She is further survived by three sisters, Yvonne Kyhos, Marie Mohr, and Sylvia Brusky; as well as her special friend, Lloyd Spoehr and fur babies Muffy and Zeus.  Besides her husband Robert, she was preceded in death by; sisters, Cedelia Ryczek, Sylvania Rozella, and Agnes Butzlaff; and brothers, Roman Koss, Vernon Koss, and Merlin Koss.

May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her light will continue to shine in our hearts.
